PSCA also offers customized training programs or short courses to culinary hobbyists or those who wish to improve their culinary skills in specific areas.

The unique features of the practical cooking classes at PSCA are as follows:

  1. The cooking exercises are done individually and conducted daily. Each student works on his/her own work station with a set of cook wares and ingredients.
  2. All dishes prepared in class are tasted/consumed by the student with discussions and evaluation.
  3. There are 3 types of examinations after each module; a written exam, an oral exam and the practical cooking exam. During the practical cooking exam, the dishes prepared by the students are presented to evaluators. Guests and parents may be invited to partake and evaluate the dishes prepared and presented in a fine dining setting.
